We are a semi-rural/ urban, part dispensing Practice (list size 7400 pts) with four Partners who provide a comprehensive range of Primary Care Services from two privately owned premises, the main Surgery in Orsett village, the branch Surgery in nearby Grays town. We have the EMIS computer system, working towards paperlite. We have our full complement of Staff - Practice Manager, two Practice Nurses, and eleven receptionists most of whom work part-time. We have been a Training Practice since 1989 and continue to provide an enthusiastic and supportive training environment. We are happy to extend this to Medical Students and undergraduates considering a career in Medicine.

Orsett has had a lot residential development in recent years. We have recently taken on an additional Salaried Doctor to continue the high level of service to our patients. We have attained high QOF points at 960, 1010, 960, 940. Our OOH cover is provided by SEEDS - our own doctors taking a share in the Rota. Patient Satisfaction surveys suggest a high level of satisfaction amongst our Patients. We ourselves continue to find General practice a challenging and rewarding career.
